The problem
with one time SEO is that it cannot sustain the improved search engine rankings
of a website once the SEO activities carried on it are stopped. So practically,
even if the site does show on the Google SERPs (though the chances are that the
rankings would be pretty low), it would have no real impact on the traffic
arriving on the website.
The only way a
SEO campaign can have an impact on a website’s traffic, if the campaign is
carried out on an ongoing basis. Because practically, any effective SEO campaign has to be constantly attuned with the changing search algorithms
defined by Google. In order to maintain the quality of its search results,
Google is constantly updating these algorithms to counter any Black-hat SEO
practices being carried out in the market.
